September Love2

Splintered Waves by Evelyn Davis

Splintered Waves

Once a girl, now woman

Chasing a hollow dream—

Passion without being fruitful

The story needs no end or beginning

Backwards reality of living, breathing

Friendships and no loyalty—

Relationships with fictional people

Stringing up our youth—

Like a quilt into blotchy color schemes,

Silence covers Death

Action launcher; no fight to flight

Yet no body language releases

Constant splintered waves erupt

Erosion before the Tempest
